Benefits of Working With Journeys Family of Services for Developmental Disability Services
Our Services
Our experienced and caring professionals offer fulfilling recreation programs with a focus on social development and community involvement. With services for children and adults, we have a program that will help your loved one grow and thrive.
Children’s programs are available at home, in the community or at our facilities and include intervention, consultation, community support groups and respite.
Adult programs include community inclusion and skill training via advanced developmental therapy, as well as Adult Day Care.
Our programs are designed to provide each person with the support they need to be as independent as possible.
We know that living in a home environment is important for adults with developmental disabilities. That’s why our team provides residential habilitation and supported living services in homes throughout the community.
Our residential program offers 24/7 staffing, assistance with activities of daily living, social and recreational opportunities, access to medical care and more.
Supported living services offer the same great features as our residential program, but are offered in smaller group settings. This allows individuals more independence while still receiving the support they need.
We offer consultation and assessment for both adults and children who are experiencing challenging behaviors. This service can help to identify the root of the problem and create a plan for improvement.
Our goal is to elevate individuals to their highest potential, and with the help of our services, many have found great success.
We help with job coaching and development, training, post-employment services and more. We work to create opportunities for those with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible and participate in their communities.
Over the years, we have helped many individuals find and keep jobs in the community. We work closely with businesses and employers to create a positive working relationship for all involved.
We can help those with developmental disabilities get social security benefits, keep track of their finances and maintain their records. This is an important service that can help them live as independently as possible.
We understand that keeping track of everything can be difficult for anyone, and far more so for those with developmental disabilities. That’s why we offer support and guidance to make it easier for you and your loved ones.
